Make the most of your private driver with this popular route:
1. Morning: Masada
Start early (8:00 AM) to beat the heat. Drive south along the coast to Masada. Take the cable car up to King Herod's fortress. The views of the desert are breathtaking.
2. Mid-Day: Ein Gedi (Optional)
Stop at the Ein Gedi Nature Reserve for a short hike to David's Waterfall. You might see Ibex (desert goats) and Hyraxes right on the path.
3. Afternoon: The Dead Sea Float
Head to a beach (we recommend Kalia for its amenities or Ein Bokek for the resort feel). Cover yourself in black mud, snap a photo, and then wash it off in the sea while floating effortlessly. Grab lunch at the beach bar.
4. Evening: Return to Jerusalem

Important Tips for First-Timers
- No Shaving: Do not shave or wax 24 hours before your visit. The salt water stings open pores intensely!
- Protect Your Feet: The salt crystals on the sea floor are razor-sharp. Wear flip-flops or water shoes into the water.
- Hydrate: It's a desert. You may not feel you are sweating, but you are losing fluids. Drink at least 2 liters of water.
- Cameras: Salt water ruins electronics instantly. Be very careful with phones and cameras.

- One-Way Transfer: Fixed price from Jerusalem to a specific beach or hotel.
- Driver by the Hour: Arranged in advance, the driver stays with you for the whole trip, 8 hours or more, including unlimited driving and waiting at your stops, at an hourly price agreed when you book. It suits groups doing Masada + Dead Sea. Without it, waiting and stops are charged per minute at the official meter's time rate.
