This is how a regular-taxi fare in Israel is calculated under the official taxi-fare price-control order. Amounts include VAT; every "from" price on this site is computed directly from them.

A tariff day starts at 06:00 and ends at 05:59 the next morning; Jewish holidays count as Shabbat and holiday eves as Friday. Saturday-night rides are by advance booking. Want the full picture? When does Tariff 2 (night rate) start?
Sunday to Thursday, Tariff 2 runs from 21:01 until 05:59 the next morning; on Friday and holiday eves it starts at 16:01, and on Shabbat and holidays it applies from 06:00 to 19:00. After that, Tariff 3 applies (Shabbat and holiday night; on Thursday from 23:01).
How much is the phone / online order fee?
The order fee under the tariff order is ₪5.78 per ride, and it is the same whether you book by phone, app or website. Our "from" prices already include it.
Is there a surcharge for luggage or a fourth passenger?
No. In a regular taxi (up to 4 passengers) we charge no extra for luggage or for the number of passengers — the fare is set by the meter only, plus the order fee and the Ben Gurion departure surcharge where relevant. Larger groups book a large taxi, van or minibus and the price is confirmed within minutes.
